Welcome to the World Skyler!

Thursday June 14th at 3:07 pm our little boy Skyler Lee was born weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long.  Labor was short and fairly easy.  (In case you are wondering I'm a firm believer in modern medicine!)  Words really can't explain the joy of seeing him for the first time.  Here are a few pictures from our special day.

Now we are all home and doing well even though recovery has had some rocky moments for me.  This little guy is adored by everyone and is constantly being fought over for who's turn it is to hold him.  I've really forgotten how hard it is not to sleep and the kids are all having their bad moments adjusting to life being turned upside down. But we couldn't be happier than we are with this sweet little guy.  Welcome Skyler!

    Oh my goodness-he is darling! I am so happy for your family to have this sweet little addition. We are back in Utah for a year (an hour south) but I will get up there one day soon and would love to say hi and snuggle that cutie. Plus-Bree is dying to see Kaitlyn again. Congratulations-Skyler is one lucky boy to join the Blackham family!
