Month of Thanks: Day 8

Today I am thankful for simple acts of kindness. Just in the last few days my neighbor left the last close parking spot for me at the school because she knew I had the baby. The bus driver let our Brazilian friend on the bus his first time in the US even though he didn't have the right change. I received an unexpected thank you card with kind words when I was discouraged. And there are many people who see me with my hands full carrying a carseat and help me with doors. Small things really do make a difference.
