Skyler's First Birthday

I knew it would come to quickly but I really dreaded Skyler's birthday because it has been such a wonderful year with him!  Of course he didn't really care it was his birthday but his siblings were so excited for him!  Thanks to my camera battery being almost dead I didn't get a lot of pictures of him.

Here's a look at Skyler at 1:  He weighs 17 lbs. 3 oz. and is 28 inches tall.  Yes, he's a tiny little guy.  He had completely dropped off the growth charts to 0 percentile again.  He's got two teeth and a whole bunch on the way.  He prefers to get around by scooting on his bottom instead of crawling although he can army crawl on his stomach if he has to.  He's gotten very efficient at moving this way.  He says, da da, ma ma, yum and sometimes I think he's trying to say his siblings names.  He waves bye.  He is very noisy at church and loves to catch any one's attention he can get (at church and any where else in public.)  He decided he was done with baby food and only wants what we are eating (he really loves chips!)  He laughs harder at Kaitlyn than anyone else.  He adores his older siblings (almost as much as they adore him) and loves to be around them and doing what they are doing.  His favorite toys are Little People.  He loved the Superhero set he got for his birthday.  He loves to get into the kitchen and bathroom cupboards to explore.  Aside from the business of this age what is there not to love about Skyler?  He has been such a joy.  He has been such a happy baby and cheers everyone up around him.
